Battery disconnect

I have the 2014 wildcat 293REX, I have searched high and low and cannot find a battery disconnect anywhere on that camper. Does every RV come with a battery disconnect or do some have to be added?

No, not every RV comes with a factory battery disconnect switch.

Even if your rig had a battery disconnect switch, that doesn't mean that it shuts everything off. Your best bet is to add a battery disconnect switch to the battery itself.

My 2016 has the battery disconnect hidden in the top right corner of the universal dock. It’s a little chrome pull knob. Pull it out for disconnect. But I found that both landing gear and the two main slides still work, but everything else including the small slide, fridge, and 12v lights do get disconnected.

If you add a disconnect switch, add this to the negative cables and not the positive cables. Napa/or on line sells several different style disconnect switches for 12V battery use. A simple knife switch works great, is easy to install and use.

Listen to reverse snow bird. I just installed one on my PUP and am trying using the ground as the disconnect instead of the positive. I read about doing it that way on a different forum and decided to give it a try, Your CO2 sensor is probably still on also. Nothing more fun than starting to load Friday after work and nothing works. Depending on how old the batter is it may not take a charge and need to be replaced if it has set for several weeks.
