What does your dealer say about this situation. Are they willing to go to bat for you? Can they fix it or does it need to go back to the factory.
If no luck with dealer, go to Customer Service and start the process of getting it covered by the manufacturer.
Unfortunately, rather or not others have had the problem probably won't have much impact on your problem. Wringing your hands also won't do you any good. Get with the right people at your dealership and manufacturer and take a strong, respectful, active approach to getting your problem corrected without cost to you.
