I would look carefully at your current choice, but also look to alternatives. Our Wildcat was purchased used but was a mistake from factory when 3500lb axles were installed instead of the labeled 5000's. Look for date of manufacture year as well as model year and vin to try in find any recalls on unit prior to purchase.

Thought I responded to this thread earlier but maybe it was a different one. I said then my Wildcat 327CK FW had officially reached POC (piece of crap) status. But wait: new old problem is back. One slide won't close fully, again. Still got AC ducting condensation. Back to dealer on Weds. I know fully that all RVs require fixing when new. My DW wanted this one and I bought it over my gut feeling that it was poorly built, oh well. Spent the last 10 hours online researching a replacement so I can offload this one. Doesn't speak well for an 8 month old unit.

We bought a '03 wildcat 26fbs in '05, we have been overall pretty happy with it. We both really like the floor plan, and that is half the battle. By now we have made modifications to the modifications, and have it tweeked to about how we want it. Never really had any significant problems with it.
