Agree. It's certainly not what I'd call user friendly at first glance...but, when understood it makes sense (After 51 years, wife still has to remind me to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS
). Still, I'd bet most will keep on auto
so as to keep the noise and air movement to a minimum. A "feature" that may be useful in some instances, but I haven't experienced one...yet.
