That looks like more than wrinkles. Looks as if membrain is coming unglued. Need to address ASAP. I would NOT let it get wet ! Water is the death of these things.

It's not torn completely away, but the caulking has separated and some went with the membrane. There aren't any places where anything is exposed.......yet.

And not only is it a '16, but I just bought it this May!

You don't need exposed. The slightest space ( less than the thickness of a piece of paper) will wick water under the membrane. Once it starts it will just get worse. You might get away a new membrane now, but if left uncorrected, you will need a whole new roof if not more.

I was afraid this would be the general consensus. I'm two weeks from home and cover. Not to mention that I use this thing 80% of the days for work.

Put a trap over it when parked. You can buy one cheap at Harbor fright. Do not let water on it. Mold inside!!!!!

yep its done. our 2018 toy hauler membrane was cut too short and cannot be stretched to fit under the metal stripping on the sides. I also have 2 strips where it is unglued. Dealership claims 30 to 40 hours labor to correct. manufacturer is quibbling about the time to repair. Dealership says no new roof = no long term warranty. Manufacturer says not covering 30 to 40 hours. had trailer 5 months and its seen 2 days of rain before winter inside stored.

Keep use posted, I have the same issue on a '16 and spent several months trying to convince FR and their only response was "it is designed to do that".

We have the 29 RKP ( 2018 model purchased in May of 2017 ) the roof does have pockets of air on top but not on the leading edge of the nose like yours. We had ours into Allegiant RV repair ( Forrest River paid ) in Oct. for a repair and I showed them our roof and they claimed it was normal to have some pockets of air and that as along as they didn’t grow or move it should be fine ( not sure I believe that ) but that being said mine doesn’t look as bad as yours..no pocket is larger than a deck of cards and there are about 9 of these. I would contact Mike at FR he was the one who helped us and got our repairs ( frame issue, fresh water tank issue, slide issue, water in slide when open ) done quickly at no charge. They also paid for two new tires ( due to frame issue ) , and two slide toppers for the slides. My advice is go direct to FR.

That's my plan Katydid, although I'm still waiting on a reply to my email and/or phone message from Mike. I doubt my "dealer", Camping World, will want to help at all, since they aren't a FR dealer. My rig was part of the inventory they acquired when they bought out the old dealer. Tell me about your water in the slide issue please.

My husband said the Mike at FR is Mike Johnson ( we didn’t have luck with Mike Rink as he was moved to some sales position we were told ) My husband said he had to push them, he documented everything with pictures and sent them on first. The slide issue was the wardrobe slide had water that came in through the top and traveled down to the bottom of the slide at the edge and the bottom of the slide was soaked. They agreed ( our suggestion ) to provide toppers to both slides to keep this from happening again. My husband thought the water came in at the edge where the black tape met the white roofing material. The tape was installed incorrectly and came off on one side. I think they know whoever is doing their roof jobs on the line is not doing a very good job because they jumped at providing the toppers as opposed to tearing it apart. Our leak was minimal, so we are trying this first. We bought at Camping World in Richmond,Indiana ( didn’t want to but CW bought the Wildcat line and we are told if you want a new one that is the only way to get one now ). We have not gone back to CW for anything. You can mention our names if you talk to Mike. PM me if you want our names. Good Luck...
