Upgrading to a Dometic Convection Microwave

We (meaning my wife) recently decided to pull the stock Advent microwave out and install a Dometic Convection microwave in out 293REX. My first question is has anyone taken the feat of upgrading to a larger microwave, if not there is a lot of "trimming". My second question, for the one's who have tackled this is, the baffle that run along the top and around the back of the microwave, is this needed. My guess is they somewhat separate the exhaust air, which has it's own cover from the intake air.

Might look at other brands. Read quite a few reviews on that unit and it god a lot of bad reviews.

What are the dimensions of your current opening?
My best friend owns an appliance store.
Maybe I can put you two together?
