Water in the underbelly

2017 Wildcat 35WB Fifth Wheel. Yesterday evening, I noticed the corrugated plastic covering under the camper was sagging pretty bad. Pushed on it and sure enough, it had water in it.

I can't find anything leaking.

Anyone else ever had this issue?

We had the same issue right after we took our 5er home.

Dealer located the leak behind the outside shower plumber. A connection fitting had been over tighten and cracked. It would only leak when on city water.

It was necessary to pull the whole under carriage fabric down to dry everything out. They also replaced the bat insulation that had become saturated, to avoid mold/mildew issues.

Cut anything open that is wet and dry it our to stop mold.

Checked both outdoor faucets and they seem fine. Left the cover open all day yesterday to dry. We have critters out there so I buttoned it up last night. I will check it again in a few days and see.

Seriously, you need to drop the belly panel and investigate.

While it could be you drove through pouring rain and the winds sucked the water up through the belly vent, most likely you have a leaker.

With everything exposed, pressurize the water system and look for leaks.
Finding none, fill the water holding tanks full and check again.

Any joint, fitting, coupling, t-fitting, can be leaking. All insulation must be dry. Hook to min 40 lb water pressure if possible.

fittings could be 'over tightened' and broke, many fittings can be under tightened and leak.... had one of these under tightened in a wall and had to peel back the wall to get to it.

Had the same problem last summer. Turned out the city water connection was not threaded properly internally. Fortunately it was late summer in S. California and 90 degree weather helped dry everything out.

I've had that problem before, and after I cut the underbelly I found that the fresh water tank was sweating A LOT from condensation. I thought I had a plumbing problem but didn't. Only happens in high humidity areas. Hope this is your problem. Good luck

the fix for that is spray fome the outside of the tank.
