Question Water pump

2022 F. R. Wildcat 5th wheel.

Why 2 water pump switches? One inside and one out. Is this just for convenience? What if both get turned on?

Ours has the two switches and it is sometimes handy to have one on the outside compartment.

We discovered the one in the wet bay when we couldn't get the inside switch to work on our brand new rig and we thought the pump was broken. We'd accidentally turned the one 'on' in the wet bay and it rendered the one inside useless. Easy fix.
It may be yours works the same, but you probably should test it.
