What is size of my black tank?

Is there a way to determine the capacity of my black tank in my 2014 Forest River Wildcat Maxx 27RLS? I’ve searched through all of the original purchase paperwork & cannot find that info any there or anywhere inside the trailer. By looking up similar models online, it appears to be 32 gallon. Anyone know for sure?

That's what it looks like from the literature.
The only way to tell for sure is to get one of these and with empty tanks fill the black water tank through the toilet. If you've got a toilet where you can hold it open that's pretty easy.

Moved thread to the Wildcat sub-forum since the OP is asking for model-specific information.

It also depends on if west coast or east coast
Mine is somewhat different than an east coast version that they show on their listing.
Also hello Lodi neighbor.

I ran into this question with our TT. Paperwork said one thing, salesman said another, and brochures said still something else. I looked at the tanks themselves and found they are stamped with the manuf. name and a model number. It wasn't a sticker but actually an impression when molded. I think I then looked them up on the manuf. website.

That's not the only way. Here's an easy way to do it without buying any equipment.
  1. With empty black tank and water off:
  2. Fill a five-gallon bucket
  3. Empty it into the toilet (while holding the flap open)
  4. Count that step
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 until tank is full
  6. Estimate gallons remaining in bucket
  7. Tank capacity = (5 x full_buckets_used) + (5 - gallons_remaining_in_bucket)
