Wheel Bearings

Hello to all _ First time to the forum.

I have A 2009 Wildcat 28RK with approx 6,000 miles on it. The owners manual indicates that the wheel bearings should be repacked at 6000 miles, yet the info brochure that sold me onthe Wildcat indicates that it was manufactured with Never Lube Wheels. I don't have any specific axle manufacturer info in the large envelope I recieved upon purchase. Does anyone know what the factory standard is?

Thanks

If it is a Nev-R-Lube, it's a product of Dexter Axle

Below is what Dexter states of the Nev-R-Lube.

-No need to pull the hubs to repack the bearings OR replace the seals when checking the brakes.
-Pre-set adjustment means installation is easy and human error is virtually eliminated in bearing adjustment.
-Pre-lubricated at the bearing factory providing resistance to contamination.
-Sealed for life which means increased durability and reliability with less bearing maintenance.
-5 year or 100,000 mile warranty against defects in material and workmanship.

Thanks for the info. Can the dealer determine the make of axles using the VIN number?

Maybe, but there should be identification on the axle itself.

Axle ID

On my 2010 wildcat it has the LCI/SBS Seal bearing . which sounded good to me. But when I was talking to my dealer about a new wire guide for my side out. I ask him about the axles he stated the same thing like milzat & that the SBS Axles would not be on next year models. Anybody know why?
