Haha.... since I’m not a gambler my wallet should be ok. The wife’s wallet could be another story. [emoji6] I’m actually here for a work conference so will be here until Thursday afternoon. We’ll see how the wife fares. Haha.

Hunting in northern Colorado. My camp pictures didn't come out too good, but here are some of us leaving camp. If anyone has any questions as to pipes freezing in cold weather, we survived 5 nights boondocking in temps of low of 0 F and high of about 20 F with no issues. Had thermostat set at 65 at night, during the day turned it down to 50 F.

Two nights in Boone, NC at the KOA. Not the best site for sure. Parking the TV was not easy between the slope and wet/soft ground. 4-wheel drive was necessary. And, the site is tight. We have been here twice before and always on a better site. Oh well, 2 out of 3.

Sunny days, mid 50's, but 34 both nights. This is the first cool weather here this fall so no fall colors. It is still almost all green. Leaving in the morning.

Sadly our is still parked at home. We intended to be a Lake Fausse Point campground in St Martinville, LA.

But since the storm hit Florida we have crews flying over there so I am here, "holding down the fort", so to speak flying in the Gulf.

We spent the last two nights of our summer trip at Steel Creek Campground near Morganton, NC. Nice CG on a nice river. Large level sites but no cell signal and very limited texts. Sunny days, cool nights and major wind on Saturday night that destroyed a few awnings on some permanent sites that were not occupied.

We are home now and working to remember how to be responsible adults after 130 RV days.

I look forward to reading all of your travels on this page, hope to see some of you on the road.
Sad to say, it's put up for this winter, planning on a Texas stay next year.

Where are all the Wildcats?

Ours is now winterized and put away in storage. We had been keeping it in our driveway but some nosey busy body in the neighborhood called the city zoning commission and complained. Apparently there is an ordnance that forbids long term parking of RV's in front of or along side of the house. It must be in back of the house, and mine would not fit. I have had an RV on my driveway for the past 10 years with no issues. I am not happy!! So now the Wildcat is stored on a grass field at a local campground, 25 miles away [emoji35].

I am not really concerned about security as it is a year round CG and you have to drive past the office to get to the storage area. Plus, the CG is not close to town so no one is wandering around out there.
We may take it to Myrtle Beach over New Years. We do have reservations in Myrtle Beach for two weeks over the Easter holiday. We had a great 129 day trip through the summer, but now we are trying to adapt to home life again and be responsible adults.

Gotta love neighbors.
At least you have had time to use your rig. We've had ours out 5 times this year and short jaunts at that. I miss not having it here where I can get things done , but we have no room to park here, just pull it up front when we get ready to load. One good thing is it's only about 15 minutes away but on rock with no hook-ups. One more year.
Good luck with the neighborhood gustapo.

Don't know about LOVE the neighbors. We do have a 14 day window when we can load/unload the trailer. But still a pain in the behind.
