Spot #4 @ Sun Roamer’s in Picayune Misssisippi. Literally just a few miles from the house. First night in it was last night, second will be this evening.

And the outdoor kitchen fridge is INOP. Claim filed on 3rd day of ownership.

If anyone is able to flip my flag picture around it would be much appreciated. I can’t edit now.

We have moved on to Shipshewana, IN for several days. 94 degrees upon arrival but heavy rain early the next morning. Been a little cooler since. Love the Amish country!

Flagon Creek RV Park

Here we are at Flagon Creek RV Park in Pineville, LA

Came for the weekend for a wedding. This was the closest we could find. Small 24 spaces, but only one other space unoccupied. Most seem to be longer term and occupied by workers rather than retirees.

Not expensive and included even free ice for your cooler. The entire site is large gravel or limestone but level. Not really much space for lounging outside at each site and a bit of noise from the road right beside the campground

The one common building includes the vending, Free ice, free laundry (including wash powder). It also houses the two largest showers I have ever seen in any RV park. they were spotlessly clean as well.

Nice place if you are occupied elsewhere and just need a place to sleep for a night or two.

Just got back to Arizona after a month from Eagle Nest, NM. Had plans to go to Colorado and Utah but a lot of our plans were canceled because of the Covid-19. New Mexico has a 14 day quarantine to keep us confined and most of the bars & restaurants are restricted to patios. We did enjoy our time in NM when it was open. Click image for larger version

Shreveport / Bossier City KOA

Here we are at the Shreveport / Bossier City KOA, staying til Monday morning. Came to visit friends and also to go to the Libbey Glass Factory and its Outlet Store.

That 202 year old business is closing its doors as of the first of the year so we wanted to go one last time
