Spot #70 at Eastlake RV Resort, Houston. Definitely not “camping”, per ‘se, but this place is immaculately clean, has a beautiful pool/hot-tub and clubhouse areas. Only here for two days, then back home to south Mississippi.

We are now in Sault Ste. Marie, MI for two weeks. Rained hard most of the night and the high today is forecast to be 72. It is a welcome change from the 90+ temps at the Mini Rally in Whittington. The weather for the next few days is forecast to be in the low 80’s and little chance of rain. Our site here at Aune Osborne CG should dry out in a day or two.

Same place but a much nicer day. In fact, the last 2 days have been beautiful and the giant freighters just keep coming.

Still at Burns Run East COE Campground on Lake Texoma although we’ve changed sites. Now we’re closer to the lake.

We were awakened at 11:30 pm by the lady in the next site who said her husband was having a stroke and she couldn’t get her cell phone to call 911. I called and directed the 4 or so emergency vehicles to their site. They took him to the hospital.

We are still in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Since there are no sewer hookups here we needed a trip to the dump station after the first 7 days. After the dump station we are on a different site, but still river front. Click image for larger version

This is our 2017 Wildcat. We live in Texas and have really only ventured out into Oklahoma and Arkansas. My husband retires in September and I work remotely so we will begin our real adventures soon and start checking off some of those bucket list spots!Click image for larger version

Back to Sun Roamer's RV in Picayune, MS for two nights. Spot #5.

The flag is a new addition, just need a taller flagpole, but will also collapse to allow storage.

Where are all the Wildcats?

At the KOA in Albert Lea/Austin, MN. The CG is so-so, poor water pressure and the site is large gravel. Not too easy to walk.

Just spent three days at the KOA in Sioux Falls, SD. We have been here several times as we like the CG and their always friendly staff. While here I had the truck serviced and also had new tires installed.
We had a failure with the Mor-ride suspension on the way here. Apparently a bolt sheared off. It was towable but needed repair. I found a great trailer repair shop here and they were able to fix it while we waited. All new bolts, bushing, nuts etc on both sides, so we should be good to go.
Heading to North Platte, NE today. Going south to avoid the 250,000 bikers in Sturgis.

Here is the site in North Platte, NE for one night. Nice enough park but close to I-80 so a little traffic noise.

Not all KOA’s are super nice, but considering the terrain in middle WY, I guess it is the best you can expect.
This was the KOA in Rawlins, WY. Just one night, thank you!

On to Boise/Meridian ID, to the KOA there for one night. A really nice park. Lots of long term units but well maintained. It is a big CG.

We are now in Boardman, OR for three nights at Boardman Marina and RV Park. It just does not get much better than this. Thick, soft green grass, lots of shade trees and the Columbia River along side. The river is almost a mile wide here.
