where the heck is battery cutoff? wildcat 344QB

We have a 2015 wildcat bought last October. We haven't been able to track down the battery cutoff. Our rig doesn't have any power going down the road so no fridge power. we are on the road right now... can you help us and tell us where the battery cutoff is on your wildcat? We've torn the thing apart and can't find it! If we attach landing gear positive lead to the battery directly, it works so battery seems ok...

Thanks and cheers in advance,

Phil

It should be in the docking station on the driver side of the trailer up high on the wall.

Here's a pic of where it should be located on your Wildcat. The red arrow points to it.

Thanks oakman. Ours doesn't seem to be in that compartment. Could it look different from yours? I appreciate any other thoughts. We are stopping now to look again. Thank you!!!

Shoot, I can't help you. You have an early model 2015 that was probably built in 2014 and still had the 2014 docking station.

you might try following the red wire back. should be able to find your switch that way.

I stand corrected, it is 2014 not 2015.

We traced all the wires and found no switches. Had 2 RV dealer service folks review so far, nobody can find it! Thinking it might have been omitted. Made appointment with dealer we bought from to get them to get to the bottom of it. Will report back once we figure out what the deal is.

Thanks,
Phil

I'm gonna guess you don't have one. Mine doesn't. If you have no 12v power, try checking the breaker buss that will be near the battery. Sometimes behind a rubber flap. For some reason, it sounds like you're not getting any power from the battery to the converter. Let us know what you find.

John

edit:...Plus on mine, the negative battery cable was connected to the battery on one end......and nothing on the other. It was just laying there.

I have a Rockwood 5'er. Mine was hidden behind the battery box on wall in front storage compartment. Salesman told me I didn't have cut-off. Picked up rig mid Dec. - battery was turned off - froze battery - dealer replaced. Just a thought. Good Luck, Ken

Turns out it wasn't a cutoff switch, it was a tiny breaker on the positive lead board in the battery compartment. It is super small and dark colored in a dark compartment. Since its a breaker not a switch, you don't have to find it unless the battery is not working. In our case we simply reset the breaker (i.e. pushed it back in) and voila - everything works. We are loaded down I will try to get a picture when I can. Hope this helps someone! Thanks all for the input.

We have a 2014 344QB and the brochure stated it came with battery shut off switch but I couldn't find it. Talked to factory rep and found out mine was made a few months before the brochure came out.
I just went to auto parts store and bought one and installed it myself.

I really need to install a cut off switch, I just pull the battery after camping and throw on the bench.

Wow! I found it! Thanks for the info! It's the most rediculous thing I've ever seen. If it had not been for you guys on the forum, I would never have found it!
