Wildcat 2012

I am buying a 2012 Wildcat WCF322RK that is a "Brand New" leftover in Florida and would like some ideas on what I should be paying extra attention to when going through my checklist before taking delivery. I have the dealer agreeing to replace the vents and recaulking the roof but after sitting for so long I'm sure I should be having other concerns. Any thoughts will help. I will be putting this fifth wheel on a year round site in Florida.

I would check anything that can be sun damaged. Sounds like you have the roof covered. Slide seals, window caulking/functionality, tires, spare, clip holders for cubby doors, etc. Good luck and enjoy your new rig!

If it's been sitting since 2011 or 2012, I'd press on every inch of the floor paying special attention along the walls. I'd also pay close attention to the ceiling. Look in every cubby hole top and bottom for water stains. Look closely around every roof penetration inside and out, for the same. You got to figure that the roof hasn't had any maintenance and there's a likelihood that something has leaked.

Hopefully you won't find anything, but it's definitely worth going over with a fine tooth comb.

I would put new tires on it and does it have the front cap that fades?
