2015 Wildwood BKIS

The wife and I just ordered the 31BKIS, wife absolutely loved it, and so did the kids. Anyone have any experience with this model or the wildwood brand in general? We are really excited and can't wait to take or first trip.

First trip

Picked up tt from dealer this morning and everything seemed to be working well during the PDI. Then we take it out to the local state park, and get everything set up, with no problems. EXCEPT the fridge inside is not getting cold. 😫 hopefully we can get it fixed. Not going to let it ruin the fun!

It takes the fridge awhile to cool down.

I know it takes time but it has been on for about 5 hours. Should it take longer than 5 hours? This is our first tt and not familiar with how long it should take. The outdoor kitches fridge is already cold.

Indoor kitchen fridge (electric/propane type) can take up to 8 hours to get cold and more depending on how much you put in. Outside fridge is a compressor type which is like your fridge at home and cools very fast.

Quick response

After giving the fridge another day to cool (Thursday), it still did not get cold. We called Funtown early Friday morning and talked to Wayne. They sent out a service man to Mineral Wells State Park to come look at the fridge. He said that it was going to be replaced. Extremely frustrated that the fridge does not work. But I have been pleased with Funtown calling us to try and get the problem fixed. Hopefully this gets fixed without anymore problems and some compensation for our troubles while camping and having to tow the tt 100 miles
Round trip to get it fixed. Plus I am sure we will have to drop it off and wait several days to go back and get it. Looks like next weeks camping trip may be cancelled. Is it common to have a few issues with a brand new tt?

Sorry to hear about having to replace your fridge. Remember, your TT is made up of many components from different manufacturers and sadly, yes, sometimes things can and will go wrong. Kudos to your dealer for sending out a service man, some dealers wouldn't.
