2018 Wildwood X-Lite 201BHXL Rear View Camera

Happy holidays everyone! I really love my new Wildwood TT. I want to install a rear view camera. The rear camera mount is hot full time. Spoke to Forest River and they told me to take it back to dealer and they would rewire it for me. Too far of a drive for a simple fix. I figured I'd just install by tapping into to center clearance light.

Reviews seem very good. Anyone here have this Yuwei camera/receiver combination and how's it working for you? I pull effortlessly with a Dodge Durango RT and it's hard to see behind. I would love to have the additional capabilities of the rear view camera.

Does anyone have one and what experiences have you had(Good or Bad)?

odd that it is hot all the time, most run off the running lights. don't know if it would really hurt anything if it is only hot when plugged into your tow vehicle. if you have a housing on your camper it is probably for the furion unit (if you want to use that housing)

We purchased our back-up camera at our RV dealer and when they tried to install they indicated the TT was wired wrong and had to contact FR to authorize the fix. When we picked up the TT the camera was working well powered off the running lights. It works well and provides good visibility for following traffic and backing up.
