2018 Wildwood X-lites Awning LED Strips

I know on the previous years of the XLite FR was installing the color change led strips from the factory, which used the remote you could change colors and such with. Does anyone have a 2018 and can confirm if they are solid white now? Dealer told me they quit using the colored and are just white now. Its not a big deal, if they are white, I will end up swapping them out myself later. Thanks

Most factory awning lights I have seen are/have been White! All the Color Changing lights with remote were installed by Owner/someone else! Youroo!!

On forest river's website, their 2017 and I think 2016 models showed color changing on their "Wildwood X-Lite ShowStopper" package for 2017. In addition, most of the dealer video's I watched on youtube, plus my local dealer all indicated they had color on the previous years. So indeed I am guessing this particular model was coming with color, was just wanting to see if it still did or not.

My 2015 were all white. I saw no reason for changing colors anyway so it wasn't a big deal.

Just a warning on the colour changing ones if you do go that route. When I first installed mine, I let my daughter pick the colour for our first night. Turns out "exact same shade as a bug zapper" purple is not a good choice for a light on the side of the trailer.

I have a 17 and it only has the white lite. I did not receive a remote for color lighting.

My 2016 and 2017 both had the colored lights. I would have preferred to have plain while.

Own a 2018 282qbxl, it has the color changing LED strip

I picked up my 2018 Wildwood last week and the light bar has all the multicolor features.

We have a 2018 Cruise Lite 272RBXL and have color changing lights with a remote. Makes a big difference whether we are with Packer fans or Bear fans.😊

It’s a personal preference. I like warm white and not the blue white you get with color strips. I added a warm white strip with dimmer to my 05 Cardinal and love it. I chose to hardwired it to 12v. In my opinion you can’t match the quality sold be superbrightled.com anywhere else. Upgraded my headlights and running ligh to led also.

Most displayed models at the Indianapolis RV & Boat show had color. One particular model looked like a 70’s disco with its flashing and rotating color light strip and led-lit speakers. I go camping to get into nature...and only hope that whoever buys the new units keep the colors and flashing off or doesn’t camp next to me.

I agree. At first I thought I'd like colored lights. I have just white but now I wish I had a dimmer. I rarely use the lights for the reasons stated above.

My intention regardless what's on it, is to replace or add a Arduino controller so I can dim them and adjust the ambience of the lights based on holiday or mood lights.... I by no means like the Disco or blinding bright lights, but I do want the ability to change them based on the mood or needs... Not to be annoying though.

We installed the coloured lights for themed weekends (Halloween, Christmas in July, etc...). Makes decorating way easier. Other than those, we rarely use the awning strip and just leverage the stock porch light.

Ours came with the white LEDs. I got a cheap dimmer on Amazon. It works very well. Less chance of them bothering others if I leave them on.

Our 2017 has the multi color LED Awning strip With all the different colors and settings.It also has dimmer feature. Tho we usually just use the white on 50% unless the DIL changes it to her favorite color of pink to annoy her FIL..

We purchased a 171RBXL Wildwood 2018 in February and it has multi colored awning lights that can be changed to various colors and multi colors. It also has the undercarriage lights.
