Battery Disconnect

Just purchased 2014 wildwood 252RKXL and looking for the battery disconnect.

Might not have one. Removing the negative cable from the battery will disconnect it completely.

I agree that it may not have a factory battery disconnect switch. Most stick and tin trailers don't have them from the factory.

follow the battery cables...

if you got one, it should be the first thing you come to after the battery.


Mine is in the frame , off to the side and slightly under the battery
looks like a red flag

Our 2016 253RLXL has a single battery and does not have a battery disconnect switch. If I am working with something on the DC system, I simply disconnect the battery negative cable at the battery. Otherwise, I see no need for a battery disconnect switch.

Now if I had two 12V batteries, I would add a battery selector switch which does provide an OFF position.
