Black streak remover

We just purchased our 2018 Wildwood last fall and this year noticed some black streaks on it and want to get them off before they get embedded in the paint. What's a good remover that won't do harm to the paint or take all of the wax off? I plan on waxing it anyways after I'm done with that.

The black streaks may becoming from your roof. You may want to check that as your source.
I have used Goo Gone with good success.

X2. Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner will remove black streaks, Just spray on dry, let it sit for a few minutes, and they will scrub right off using a sponge or terry cloth dipped in water.
Also the best stuff for removing bugs and gug butts from the front cap. Just spray on in shade, let sit for 3-4 minutes and sdrub them off. I use a soft bristle brush on a telescoping pole. Dip brush in a bucket of water and scrub em off. Lot easier than trying to scrub them off using a ladder and a small dryer sheet..
Pretty much all I use to clean our Lexi.

I had tried automotive cleaners, even dish liquid with poor results. I tried the scrubbing bubbles and was disappointed, tried the Totally Awsome and it worked the best. Follow up the totally awesome with a good wax.

What I found to be the best on my old rv was regular black streak remover. Let it sit a little bit and it takes care of the issues. Once in a while a couple passes with soap and water and an automotive scrub brush afterwards helped.

I generally picked it up at walmart. Also the bug remover is pretty good too.

The majik eraser that my DW used to get tar off her vehicle took the clear coat off her paint!

I’ve used Camco’s black streak remover with great results.

I also used Thetford’s Wash and Wax and it is outstanding!

Usally use black streak remover and for bugs I use dryer sheets like bounce wet the area and just rub lightly to remove bugs then rinse. Youd be surprised how easy they come off. Later RJD

Magic Erasers are just tiny rectangular pieces of melamine foam with a cleaning agent inside. ... A melamine sponge is more dense than your average cleaning sponge and its tiny pores make it a light abrasive, not unlike that of an extra fine sheet of sandpaper.

Both.
For normal everyday cleaning, diluted works fine. For heavier cleaning, full strength. Never a problem full strength.

Thanks. I've heard various stories.
Never worried much about the foam, it's the cleaning agent impregnated in the sponge. Even SoftScrub will scratch if you rub enough.

Guess I need to get one and try it sometime.
