Bumper Bike Rack

I have a 2020 wildwood xlite 273qbxl and wanted to see if it is safe to mound a bike rack on the bumper.

If you do a forum search, you will find that most don't recommend it. It all depends on how well your bumper is welded to the frame.

Moved thread to the Wildwood sub-forum since the OP is asking for model-specific information.

We have that very bike mount on our Surveyor and it works very well! No need to worry about your bikes "bouncing" off the back bumper.

Will this hold two 50lb Ebikes?

I doubt that rack is capable of two Ebikes.
What Ebikes weigh only 50lbs each? Most weigh more than that.

I put a Aventon Pace 500 on my rack that is 50lbs and it worked real well. I also added a ratchet strap from the frame of the trailer to the bike rack frame and back to the trailer frame on opposite side. Since this bike frame sits so close to my trailer, I could not install another bike on the back side of bike rack without contact to the front of the trailer. I believe this unit states 80lbs with two bikes. With the strap easily 100lbs. If you remove both batteries, one on each bike, that's 20-25lbs less weight.
