Decent Manual/Wiring Diagram

Hello all,

Just purchased a 2020 Heritage Glen 5'er. I'm amazed at how crappy the owners manual is!!! I guess it's good for the first time RV'er but if you know the basics the manual is really lacking specifics. I talked to FR and apparently that's as good as it gets. Does anyone have any better resources out there for better manuals, and specifically a wiring diagram? Guess they want to capitalize on that warranty money!

Thanks in advance.

The only manuals that I have ever seen is for the appliances and electronics. Most RV's are put together while they move down the assembly line and hopefully everything works when it is delivered.

Welcome to the world of RVs. There is nothing better. One of the reasons there is no wiring /plumbing diagram is they do not exist even for the builders. Slightly simplified, but build instructions basically say connect point A to point B and different workers will route differently. If you did not get a build sheet. Ask your dealer for one. Then go the mfgrs web site for each OEM item and down load the manual.

X2 Also, there are no pre-made wiring harnesses per se. Everything is hooked up with its' own wire run or spliced off the one before it.

Thanks for the replies. I guess it's trial by error. I do have another related question. I installed a 3rd battery (12v in parallel) but I'm not sure exactly where to wire it. One of my original batteries is wired to the cutoff switch and grounded to the frame. The other original is wired to a relay and grounded to the frame. So where and how should I wire this 3rd battery? Wire to one of the original batteries? Go to the cutoff switch? Go to the relay? Any ideas?
