Fabric RV Covers

Those of you that use fabric RV covers for the winter, do you have any problems with mold or mildew? Or any other issues? We live in the south where the humidity is high. We’re contemplating buying one, but want some advice before sinking money into one. Thanks so much!!!

The ADCO Tyvek covers are high quality breathable covers. They are not cheap but with the proper fit they will protect your RV for years. I'm very happy with mine.

Good RV covers are breathable and shouldn't cause mold or mildew.

I never had an issue with mine. Just take it off and a quick power wash.

Buy one made with Sunbrella fabric, other fabrics don't last. I bought mine from CalMark a couple years ago.

Sunbrella is great stuff, it is costly but will last for many years.

If you have one made, make sure they put some breathable vents in it so you avoid mold and have them put a door zipper in so you can get into your camper without taking the cover off.

You also need to protect/pad any hard edges like the gutter spouts or they will eventually tear through the cover...

I have an ADCO breathable.. It fits well, has a good tie down system and they are a good value. However, from most accounts, they won't last more then 4 or 5 years.
