Forest River FSX Lite 196BH Owners Thread

Hey just wanted to start a thread for anyone out there who has the same camper. I wanted to share information and hopefully get some information about it. The first thing I wanted to share was the AC unit. It doesn't seem to cool well when it is really hot outside. It also will leak into the trailer if I don't have it tilted towards the AC unit. I have some issues with the fridge not cooling all the way. I have played with it some and can't seem to figure it out. I know it needs space and you can't cram stuff in there but last trip I didn't and it seemed to work better for a while. Does anyone know how much the trailer being tilted would change how the fridge works? I mean I have it tilted a little for the AC but nothing crazy. I would also like to mention I have learned alot about other things on this camper if you have questions I can try to help.

Wink Checking Back

Just seeing if anyone else has this camper or one that is close so I can bounce some ideas off them.

Wildwood

Just wanted to clarify it is a Wildwood. Also I just figured out something today with the fridge. I posted it on another thread but wanted to include it here too. The fridge wasn't working great and I found out that the trailer needed to be more level. Once I had it level front to back it worked like a charm. Still looking into the AC thing. Will probably be hard to figure out since it is now getting colder in Missouri. I did see some things online talking about how the AC units are really just window units and since they are installed inside the camper barely hanging out the sides don't get the airflow they are suppose to like they do hanging out a window.

Your thread was moved to the Wildwood sub-forum since it was specific to a Wildwood model only.
