Forest River Service Issues...

A year ago my wife and I purchased a 29' bunkhouse, I believe it is a 29qbbhs??? Any how, we have had multiple issues with the unit. Last year, we noticed the floor of the s/o was sagging, and took it in to have it looked at. The floor was definitely sagging and even tore a hole into our linoleum floor. At that point, the dealer was too expensive to do the repair and Forest River would not allow them to do it, so Forest River called me to try to work out a small repair instead of a completely new floor, what a joke....

Long story short, they hauled the trailer back and made a repair to the floor. In exchange, I was promised a lifetime guarantee on the floor repair. It has been about 6 months now and I have yet to see the paperwork granting me this warranty. I have made multiple calls to Pat Stratton at Forest River, and i usually have to leave a voice mail and get no phone calls back.

Well, I went camping for the first time this year last weekend, and noticed that the plywood subfloor has some very weak areas in it, and I am now concerned. The floor squeaks and groans when you walk to the restroom, and I am going to take it back into the dealer to have it looked at. I cant wait to see the run around I receive with this issue!

So I guess my real purpose for posting here is to find out if anyone has ever had this type of issue with Forest River, and has anyone ever had the squishy squeaky floor issues like I am currently having?

Thanks for the welcome!

I take it as though you have not had a horrible experience with them? I am hoping that it was just a bum deal and things will get better, but I do have a lack of confidence in their customer service at this point.

it's been my experience, with FR warranty reps, that email communication is better than leaving voice mails.
send an email to Pat Stratton and you'll probably get a quicker response.
