Gray & black tank wiring

I have a 2005 Wildwood travel trailer. Our dog chewed the wires leading from the front of the camper (from the guage in the camper) and 4 wires hanging off the tanks. I'm trying to figure out how to put these back together. I know this is not a new topic and I have seen the wiring diagram attached to another post about this, but I know nothing about reading a wiring diagram, and my wires are a different color from what is shown in the diagrams. My fresh water tank reads fine, my black & gray tanks read Empty even when they are not. I have 2 thicker wires coming from the front; one Green and one White. I have 4 thinner wires coming from the 2 tanks: one yellow, one green, one white and one that is either white & dirty, or yellow. I am not in a position to take this to a dealer for assistance. Can anyone help me? Any help appreciated. Thank you.
