I would be very careful. The roof can be leaking or it could be coming from around windows. If you are really handy and have a lot of time to do the job right then it might be a great deal. If you want to camp now, you need to rethink that project.

Best Regards,

Hob

I think the dealer words said it all. Keep in mind there's a leak and the trailer is being "sold as is". And you still need to replace the walls & ceiling and what ever else pops up. And the floor is in good condition? Sounds like one big project to me.

Ask the dealer to check to see if its stickered.

Are you basically asking if this is a good trailer for $2200 or if its wise to buy a trailer with a leak? Here's a few thoughts ...

Check NADA for prices on 2002 Wildwoods along with any other used sales for that trailer in your region.

That's a Hybrid isn't it? If the leak if from the front, it could be leaky seals around the bed and/or something else.

Can you get the dealer to pinpoint it better? That would tell you a lot about how difficult or expensive it might be to fix.

Also check for rot in the ceiling and in and around the front bed. That could be prohibitively time-consuming or expensive to repair if bad enough.

This is what the sales women said to me...I went and talked to the tech that did the gas check and the appliance check. He said everything passed. All the lines were good, no issues with any of the appliances, tires checked out. I asked about the fridge too, he said that before it was traded the dometic fridge had the recall work done already. Mechanically speaking we're aces. Some elbow grease with the walls and the front of the roof and you'll have a decent little camper. You'll want to pick up a battery for it and a propane tank while you're in wonderful tax free NH. If you buy it through us you'll get a 10% discount on any purchase, (that excludes any labor to install)
