I have a Hemisphere 282RK. Take out the bottom drawer of the bedroom cabinet to access the water heater. The bypass is right in front of the heater.
BTW: The drawer slider hardware is difficult to release & attach again. There are black tabs on both sides of the slides.

Lift the bed platform up to give yourself more room to remove the drawer.

I was looking in the camper yesterday and it looked like it was on the opposite side of the electric panel in the bedroom cabinet in front of the bed. Is this correct?

Also does it have a winterizing kt installed where i can suck the antifreeze into the lines?

Thanks

Mine (HG 272RLS) has it in the bedroom behind the wardrobe...have to pull the 2nd drawer completely out to see it. I guess that's where the money is stashed! LOL

Scorn,

Yes, the water heater is located on the opposite end of the electrical panel. The water pump is located under the kitchen counter at the sink. You need a #2 square bit tip to remove the inside panel (under the sink) to access the water pump. Mine did not come with the antifreeze attachment for the water pump, had to install it myself.

Our 2016 282rk did not come with winterizing kit either and water pump is also under the sink behind the panel. Water heater is also under second wardrobe drawer.

Scorn, that is the kit you need. Use teflon on the threads.

The hose with that kit is a little short. Go to lowes in the plumbing dept they have clear hose that matches that size.

Get an extra length of hose along with a barb fitting to connect he 2 pieces. Sorry I don't remember the ID of the hose at the moment.

This helps get the jug of antifreeze out from under the cabinet when pumping it in the lines.

Or, you could get a blow out plug and clear your lines with air pressure then pour antifreeze in the drains and some in tanks. This is an alternative to filling all your lines with AF. No water in the lines, no freezing up ! Good luck and Happy Camping!
