Heritage Glen 299re lug nut size

Anyone know the HG 299re lug nut socket size? My trusty 4 sided tire wrench is a no go. Thanks.

If you've got aluminum wheels I can understand why the traditional 4-way won't work, and you don't want to try because it will destroy the thin aluminum cap on your lugnuts. Most likely your lugs are 1/2 X 20 in size, available at Auto Zone.

Go to Lowes and get a 3/4 inch thin wall deep socket, then stop at Tractor Supply Company for a 24 inch breaker bar. Now you have a decicated camper lug wrench. Check for tightness at your first rest area and happy motoring.

As SilhouettePenny stated, your wheel may not be allowing a lug wrench to fit over the lug nut and have room to turn the lug nut with the way the nut is inset into the wheel. You will need a thin wall socket to accomplish this, if that's the case.

Also, you may want to check out this thread, if you have the lug nuts with the chrome veneers on them. It has a pic of the type wheels you may have too.
