If you have the Shwintek slide you also have a controller for it. It's kind of the brain for the system. Through the controller you can bypass it with a code. It will also tell you what's wrong if it doesn't work. It may be close to your control board.

Yeah I saw the controller, it's actually underneath the slide in my model. There is a button there for a manual override, but I found if you have no power to the main lippert panel you also have no power to this control box.

I didn't know if you had found that or not. I'm not a real fan of the Shwintek slides . I have two and they seem fragile to me. I hold my breath every time I push the button.

Definitely agree with that... I will say though after now finding I can basically loosen a handful of screws and be able to just push my slide in and out that is pretty handy. And according to Lipperts site they are on over 70 different models so at least a lot in production to shake out issues.

FYI. Lippert has an app, MyLCI that lists many of there products that includes trouble shooting. Mines on my iPhone. You would be amazed at how many components on your trailer are produced by Lippert.
