My apologies. I clicked on this thread from the "recent thread" header and responded. It wasn't until after I posted that I realized this was in the "Wildwood" section. Please disregard my posts with a "Rockwood".

RSG... Yep, much more truck than needed. But, we figured it's better to have more than we need than need more than we have. When we realized we needed more room in the cab to accommodate our wolf pack (4 Akitas), we decided to get a truck that will pull whatever we decide to upgrade to in the future :-). And: my wife was supportive of getting the bigger truck, so who was I to say no...

Yeah, nothin wrong with that, I would much rather see a Freightliner towing a P-UP than a S10 trying to pull a 31' TT, lol. No problem with overkill, I just love seeing a 3500 diesel dually, mega-cab with a Roo in tow. It's like seeing Arnold Schwarzenegger (from the '60's of course) with a cute little 5' blonde...

I've never thought of it that way, but now it's burned into my memory... I'll never look at our Roo the same again... :-)

I have been in a Mega cab once, its like being in a limo, sooo much space. Wish I could afford one, would make our upcoming 3k round trip with 3 adults and 2 kids a bit more comfortable, lol.

My son and I are set up at Sweetwater Creek CG in Canton Ga this weekend. DW and my daughter went to Savannah GA for the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouting this weekend, so it's just a guys weekend with the dog and some other friends.
