one of our favorite places!

we take our beach chairs to the same spot, in your second pic, by the estuary and have Happy Hour, while watching the sun set.

We have the same trailer, bought mine on Nov 2 2011. Nov. 11 we found that campground on our way to San Fran up hwy 1 for a father son car trip stopping at morro bay for a minute. We said right there we were coming back with the trailer. That place is beautiful you just don't find places like that in so cal.

Lived in BaywoodPark just south of that Campground. Lived there when I was still in school around the 60-70's My dad had a gas station in San Luis Obisbo. I can remember our school bus going by that park and as kids we used to fish that area all the time. I have only camped there 1 time with my old fiver and that was in the 80's.
Boy we sure had good time then.

Nice pictures Mike.
Morro Bay is our favorite place to visit.
We stay at the Morro Dunes RV Park when in town.

You guys are killing me!!! I can't wait for camping season here in VT. I have camped in CA when I was a child in 1969. My father took a sabbatical from teaching (college phd) and the family ( mom, me & sis) traveled for 6 months around the country in a VW camper. Great memories and got the travel/camp bug from him.

We like to stay at Morro Bay SP when we can. We live about 45 minutes south and this is one of our favs. One day we will try to get an electrical site but they go fast during reservation time.
