Need more Wildwood People!!!

Got me a Wildwood 27rlssle commin in the mail. Should be here next week. I see that there are no posts in here since last year. Did yer trailers all fall down and go boom or what? Did I make a boo-boo buying one? (I'll answer my own question here..... "NO") Got a buddy a block away with a 2006 wildwood 27bhssle and other than the lino lifting on the floor he's had no issues.
So where be the rest of ya? speak up and never hold yer peace!!!!

I kinda think a lot of members post in the more general threads... I know I do rather in the Salem part. I did the Search thing for Wildwood and got quite a few newer posts.

OUt on our first trip in our 28TBSS as I type this. Just a short trip from the house (about 10 miles), but so far so good... Cold A/C, cold beer and food in the fridge, pleanty of rom for the 4 of us with the slider, queen bed up front and the 3 bunks in the back.
I did have a bit of trouble remembering how to set up the awning, butonce I got going, the memories from our rundown at the dealer started coming back.
We also had some microwave issues... it looked like the door was closed, but it wasn't and we couldn't figure out why it wouldn't start.

Having fun at Red Top Mountain SP, GA...

Wildwood LE

I just purchased a wildwood LE 29FLSS about 4 weeks ago and am loving it so far. Plenty of living room and storage space.

We have a Flagstaff, which is the "ultralight" model that FR produces and have been very happy with it so far. Other than a few minor glitches, it has been great. We won't discuss tires though. Carlisle junk.

We just got a new WW 29BHBS , we really like the layout. it has a lot of space, abundance of storage, many funtional features.

any feed back on things to watch, nice improvements to make, tips, etc will be much appreciated.

do yall like the external grill option mounted to tt, is this safe , will it discolor/harm siding.

i look forward to talking with you , appreciate your helpful advice

Question regarding Carlisle tires. I have really heard bad stories, Should i ask the dealer to change to another tire, and if so what brand. it has 15 inch tires, recommended 65 psig pressure. we dont plan to drive it much for several years since it will be kept at the beach . i doubt if he rv supplier would change the tires out without good cause. i have many negatives about carlisle though. anyone had good service from carlisle

thanks

Since you do not intend to tow it regularly, then the Carlisles should suffice. Should you decide to start towing later on after it has sat for a long period of time, you should replace them then. That would be true for any brand. Since these will be new you shouldn't have any problem getting it to the beach. I went about 5k miles before my first blow out. I plan to put a new set of something on it this spring. My dealer said leave them on until we get ready to travel and then change them.
