New Wildwood TBSS

We purchased in April 2012.

Here is what we have experienced.

Front door hard to close.
Bunk door hard to close.
Pantry slide out missing catches.
All fixed by dealer.

During our second trip these issues occured.
Microwave starts and then stops. Door did not close well.
water pump starts sucking air. Faucets spurting.
Discovered linoleum floor bubble next to entertainment center.
U shaped dinnete table starts leaning. Screws are coming loose in leg base.
Air conditioner comes on when furnace is selected.

This is our first new travel trailer, so not sure if this is normal. My previous trailer was a wildwood T19.

Looking forward to getting the bugs worked out.

There are a lot of systems that are working right.

Have the same model. Be sure to check for water leaks at all the faucet connections. I had 6 my first time out. Several where leaking Also the water pumped leaked too. I went over each fitting...

That and my ac thermostat wouldn't come on if it was too hot in the camper. Go figure but dealer replaced.

Also the axles where wrong. I wore out a set of tires at just over 1000 miles. Te dealer did take care if it though. All new tires and new axles.

Good luck. It's a great unit once the bugs are worked out.

Hi Morganw351

Welcome to the site! More often than not there will be fix-it issues with a new RV. I would hope for a shorter list but your list doesn't seem out of the ordinary to me.

"Air conditioner comes on when furnace is selected."
Does the furnace come on when the A/C is selected? This would be on top of the list to get fixed.

Take care.

Air conditioning coming on with the furnace is normal. Read the manual on the Dometic thermostat and you'll see how to override it.

Hope you get your issues fixed, I have the 26TBSS and love it no issues so far 16 nights camped thus far. First forest river product for me and I think I made a wise decision.

I was also concerned about "issues" with our new camper. Everybody assured me that glitches were normal. We had several door catches that didn't work right (pantry and master console door). The water line to the toilet leaked and the seal around the window on the slide out came loose. All were repaired quickly by dealer.

Our table bed support rails busted off on our last trip, I posted pictures on another thread, I repaired it myself.

It is August, and I am still towing my Wildwood back to the Dealer for warranty work. We have owned it for 4 months.
So here is the list.
1. City water inlet leaks. Never used it because we have been dry camping.
2. Slide out pantry would not close flush with the cabinet.
3. Drawer under settee slid out and would not go back in.
4. Diamond plate on the front of the travel trailer is separating from the trailer.
5. Drawer under couch will not stay closed while under way.
