If it's a two way fridge, then no, it will only work on propane or 110v.
If it's a residential fridge, also no, it only works on 110v.
If it's a three way fridge, then yes, it will work on 110, 12v, or propane. These are usually in aframes and pop-up type RVs.

Step number 1 is to make sure that your truck is supplying power to your trailer. Many vehicles need a fuse and/or relay installed to accomplish this through the 7 pin connector.
My Dometic fridge keeps things cool for at least two days without being turned on IF I fill the freezer with frozen water bottles, and pre-cooled items in the fridge part. It is actually a really good "cooler" once cold and filled with already cold items.

Is your fridge a 2-way fridge or 3-way fridge or residential fridge?
