Refrigerator Cooling on Truck Power

Will my refrigerator cool while on truck power and traveling? We don’t want to use propane. Thanks!!!

If it's a two way fridge, then no, it will only work on propane or 110v.
If it's a residential fridge, also no, it only works on 110v.
If it's a three way fridge, then yes, it will work on 110, 12v, or propane. These are usually in aframes and pop-up type RVs.

Step number 1 is to make sure that your truck is supplying power to your trailer. Many vehicles need a fuse and/or relay installed to accomplish this through the 7 pin connector.

My Dometic fridge keeps things cool for at least two days without being turned on IF I fill the freezer with frozen water bottles, and pre-cooled items in the fridge part. It is actually a really good "cooler" once cold and filled with already cold items.

Since you have no info on your RV, listed in your profile and you didn't post make and model of fridge, there's no way to give you much help.
Is your fridge a 2-way fridge or 3-way fridge or residential fridge?
