Better provide more info. What do you have for RV and also type of fridge: gas/ electric or residential electric, and model number.

This a 12 volt DC supplied refrigerator. You have to make sure your battery voltage is higher than 12 volts. Check battery voltage with multimeter when fridge is running. When you are hook up to shore power, does fridge operates properly?

OK so I would still check voltage at battery with fridge running and shore power hooked up. This will prove if converter is charging battery properly. Voltage should probably be 12.7 volts and higher if all is OK.

Hope someone else with similar fridge can help you. We don't see many people with 12 volt only fridge on forum. Did you pre-cool fridge for 8 hours before putting any food in it? If no, then it might just take more time to freeze/cool.

RV fridges, especially those operating on 12VDC are much less efficient that your home fridge. They cool slowly and recover from opening and having non chilled items added. If possible avoid adding large quantities of warm items and leaving the door open for for long periods of time.

Ok, I’ll ask the obvious questions.

Has this fridge EVER worked properly?
Has it worked on battery AND electric?
Is this the first time for the fridge this camping season?
How long was it plugged in or supposedly running on gas before you determined it was not working?

Same Exact problem!

I have the same exact problem - new camper, new fridge, same model, worked one day, now not cooling. Can you share with me what your solution was?

lusygirl... I see you have 3 posts... welcome!

You will have better luck getting help if you start your own thread.

List your refrigerator make/model, your R/V make/model/year, whether the refrigerator ever worked or if this is something that just started and what you have checked/tried to correct the issue.

You said in your post you have the exact same model refrigerator but the thread is talking about several different types of refrigerators. The original post in the thread was about an Everchill refrigerator and later on someone asked about a Dometic so you see... jumping onto a thread isn't always the best way to get a resolution to YOUR issue..

Best of luck. There are many knowledgeable folks here that are eager to help.

I did start one, but was hoping that this person could tell me what their fix was since it's the same problem/model. thanks!

OK... but no one knows 'which person' you were referring to?

You didn't quote a post and didn't provide any information about what you have. If you want folks to put 2+2 together, you have to provide the proper information.

Again, best of luck and I'll look for your other thread.
