Slushy Antifreeze

Went out to check on the TT this evening to check the antifreeze level in the stool. Guess what, it was slushy. Is that normal? Got down to 18 degrees last night. Thought that stuff was suppose to not freeze. Label on the jug says -100 degrees and this was a popular brand....really worried about the plumbing now. Took great pains in winterizing everything....

Yes that is normal. I asked this last year when I didn’t know. Rest assure your fine.

No worries. The RV AF will get slushy but will not expand and break your water lines.

It will get slushy but does not expand. The expansion of water is what bursts pipes and fittings.
edit...wow..three answers within a minute. I guess I type too slow
