Stabilizers do not work except with wireless remote.

I have a 2016 wildwood x-lite. Front and rear stabilizers work fine with wireless remote, however they do not work with remote toggle switches. I have no power to the switches. All indications point to possibly a fuse problem but no fuse in the fuse panel. Is there an inline fuse and where or how would I find it?

I see it is your 1st post, Welcome!

Yes, many stabilizer systems have inline fuses since their circuitry typically does not go through the battery cutoff switch.

Some stabilizers also have resetting and self-resetting 12v circuit breakers.

Since your stabilizers work with the remote it doesn't sound like a fuse or circuit breaker but rather whatever control module/relay that routes voltage between using the remote and using the switch.

There have been numerous systems used throughout the years. Some are nothing more than 12v relays on a wooden board. Do you know what remote system YOU have?

There's a good chance that the manual switch power and the remote power are separate systems and have separate fuses. I know that on our 2015 unit they do. I have blown a manual switch fuse and the remote kept working and have also blown the remote fuse and the manual swiches kept working.

Thanks Bama,

I thought I recalled someone saying that but didn't want to have someone going down a rabbit hole on something I "thought" I remembered.

Where were your fuses?

The manual switch is located in the wiring loom under the RV near the stabilizer motor and the remote switch is located on the remote receiver which is under the fridge.

In our TT the remote control/wireless panel is under the pantry to the left of the refrig and on the floor. There are fuses, relays, and many connections to that panel. The stabilizers are controlled via this panel. Including as well are the awning, slide, and outside lights.

Problem solved

Thanks to all who chimed in to answer my problem. All responses were of help to me. The control block that supported the stabilizers and other accessories was located under the bottom bunk in the rear of my rv. I found the blown 20 amp fuse and replaced. All is well thanks to those who replied.

Thanks for coming back and letting us know what you found and that you got it fixed.

A lot of times people ask a question, get advice and then never come back and let us know if it worked or not.
