Tongue jack

While raising my electric jack, right at the top I heard something and the bottom broke off inside and came down. Luckily I was loaded and headed home. Just took off jack and headed home. Has this happened to anyone? What's needed for repair?

Helps to know what brand of jack you have. Also try and Google the manufacture website, and get a manual, and maybe a parts breakdown. If you don't know what brand jack, at least post camper year and model, and maybe someone will know.

Like Windrider said -which jack?

Some jacks cannot easily be repaired while others have parts available from the manufacturer (Barker).

Also, is it under warranty?

Open it up and take a look if something has sheared off. My understanding is that Husky service is pretty good, but how much they can help might depend on how old your hitch is. Call the manufacturer and explain the issue and they might be able to send you parts or even a new hitch, which would be nice.

This manual will help.

That's what I expected to hear!

If it were an LCI, the recommendation would be to replace and not even bother to try to fix it.

Took TT to the dealer, they got the jack covered by warranty even though it was out of warranty.
