i think you have a 5.3 v-8, not a 5.8.
without any info on what model or if you have a WDH, it's hard to respond.
i have a 2007 Avalanche, which is the same GM900 platform as your Tahoe. it's a Suburban without the back seats.
i think your tow max is close to my 7200lbs.
but don't know what Wildwood you have nor what rear end ratio you have with the Tahoe.
