Any OTA antenna is an "HD" antenna. HD is a marketing gimmick. The TV simply has to have a digital tuner to receive the HD channels.

Yep, so true.

Even rabbit ears will pull in HD picture. I know cause I've done it.
The old Wineguard Batwing antenna will get you HD signals.

IMHO; Some RV parks I get 32 channels, some three, some zero, some if you lower or slightly raise the antenna you get better reception. Were on our eight year full timing and finally bought a Wineguard 2 Dish Cable System. Wish I would have got it sooner. On the lighter side, we have learned so much.....

Since tv stations went digital, the signals don't travel as far as analog signals.
So HD signals have a shorter range.

You could try adding a Wingman attachment to your current Winguard.
