Unidentified Switch

Hi everyone. I’m not terribly new to rv camping but purchased my first 5th wheel this past summer. It’s a Wildwood 33BHOK. When you first enter the the camper there’s a switch near the floor going into the cabinetry near the hot water heater. It not easy to follow but looks like the wires are going to some small junction panel on top of the water. Does anyone have snd ideas?

Thanks,
Michael

Moved to Wildwood sub-forum since OP is asking for model-specific information.

How old is this trailer? That switch looks old school and possibly be something a previous owner installed.

It’s a 2017. The switch matches the likeness of other switches in the unit.

Could it possibly be a switch for the 120 volt side of the water heater?.

I know there’s a a separate switch on the heater itself inside the the outside access panel. I thought maybe it was a switch to not allow propane operation but it still lit with it off. The original owner thought there are two separate hot water tanks but I only know of this one.

Unidentified Switch

We owned a sandpiper fifthwheel several years ago. It had a switch inside for propane and electric along with the external switch on the water heater itself. I always left the external switch on and used the inside switch. Simple to check by process of elimination.

I have a switch just like that in the same place on my wildwood and it turns on the outside under carriage blue rope lights. The lights run along the frame just behind the steps. I leave them on all night for a night light and always forgetting to turn them off during the day. I understand from an old tail that the blue light keeps snakes away.... maybe, maybe not, but sure makes it nice when coming home at night, Might try that and see if you have those lights on your unit also.

I have heard that undercarriage lights can keep the mice away.
