What is this switch?

Hi! I have 2 light switches in my 2017 wildwood 27rkss. The one on the left is the master switch for the interior lights and the other I cannot figure what it is. I have turned all the lights on, inside and out, and shut it off and on and cannot figure what it goes to. Does anyone have the same model that can explain it to me? Thanks!

Take a pice of the panel so folks know what you are referring to and you should get an answer to your question. Pics are worth 100 posts.

It’s the one on the outside or the right side when looking at it.

Mine is similar . Do you have led lights on the inside of the slideout behind the wood trim? Maybe the wiring has gone bad??

I do have LED lights that are along the awning. I turn them on with the remote. That switch does not seem to override them. I have tried having them both off and on and flipping the switch and nothing happens.

May have been the switch the dealer used on prior years for the outside lights, but now with remote it isn't needed anymore, but they still use the same panel.

Have you actually looked at the backside of the switch to see if there are wires connected and have you put a meter on them to see if the switch sees power. It is not uncommon to use a plate, and fill the plate with an empty switch -

Do you have a light on your hook up side? I had a MH that had a light on that side incase of hooking up or unhooking at night. It did come in handy one time.

In some units that switch controls a led light strip at the base of the awning.

On mine the right "light" switch is for the awning LED lights, the other is for the scare light over the entry door.

Mine controls the led light strip and the yellow light behind the steps at the door. really hard to see the light, IF not dark outside. the fuse for these are inside my pass thru.

Do you have a remote for your awning light, as well?

Yours may be like mine not sure. I don't have access to my TT to verify this but I think the awning lights work like the inside overhead light nearest the panel. On the panel, my switch closest to the door operates the overhead light. The other operates the awning led light strip. This always seemed like it should have been reversed to me.
But if the panel light switch is turned on, you can turn the overhead light on or off at the fixture. If the panel light switch is off, the switch on the fixture doesn't work.
In the case of the awning light, the remote works like the switch on the fixture.
Our bathroom fixture works the same way between the wall switch and the fixture switch.
I hope that makes sense.
