where is water heater by-pass valve ?

I have a 26tbss i was wondering where the location is of the valve. First winter with camper, just got it a few weeks ago. Thanks in advance.

It will be located close the inside portion of your water heater. You might have to remove a cabinet panel, lift up a dinette seat, or something like that to get to it. I am not sure specifically where it is on a 26tbss.

Not familiar with your camper either. However:

When you look at the plumbing on the water heater, are there 3 valves?

One on hot; one on cold; and one between the two hoses?

If not the bypass kit is not installed. Contact your dealer to have one installed if you think it might be more than you can handle as a mod.

Thanks for the pics. I will have to remove a panel on the inside. I had thought it was supposed to be under the trailer for some reason. I should be fine from this point. Thanks again !!!

The by pass is located behind the panel underneath the stove. The valve will look like the ones in the first pic in the post above. I have the same model. If you need to I will take pics for you.
