Wildwood 27REIS General Queries

Let's try this again. I posted re this camper, got 144 views but no replies. I am about to become the owner of a 2018 Wildwood 27REIS camper from a private party. I have questions that go unanswered. The 1000 Watt Inverter powers up the home style refrigerator. Does it power up something else? Microwave, Fireplace?? There are inputs on the outside labeled for Solar, Satellite, Cable; where do these go inside? I guess that's enough for now. Probably will have more when I get the unit in my possession.

if its the same as my heritage glen the invertor only runs the fridge nothing else and it will only last as good as your batteries. don't plan on dry camping for any length of time without a generator or solar. The invertor is basically for your drive time to the site.

the plug labeled solar is nothing my a cheep marketing scam. its a low gage wire and socket that would nothing but trickle charge your battery with a small solar panel.

The satellite/cable you should have two. One is your in for if you are at a park that offers it. the other on the door side by the t/v mount would be were you would get signal to watch tv outdoors.

That clears some things up a lot. Thanks. My inverter is bad and that has been verified so I hope to get it replaced under warranty. I thought it might also have powered the microwave. It only has one 12V battery so I was not expecting a lot of time with it. The other issue I think is solved was the water heater with a switch inside on the wall and one outside on the heater but that has been explained.
Thanks again.

Just went out to the camper. Opened the back cover of the inverter. Two DC wires from battery coming in, 115V wire plugged in to AC outlet. AC wire (looks like 12 guage) coming out with no indication what it feeds. Opened the microwave oven door and the light came on. Unplugged the AC into the Inverter and the light went out. This tells me the Inverter is feeding the microwave as well as the refrigerator. Inverter was turned off during this test which really doesn't matter since it doesn't work anyway.

There is an AC outlet in the compartment where the inverter is mounted. The inverter plugs in there. Feeds AC thru the inverter to the appliances when electric is present. Feeds AC from inverter to appliances when operating from battery.

I was wondering as our 2017 Wildwood did not come with an inverter and does have a Residential Refrigerator.

In yours, where are the bypass valves for winterizing? I can't find any.

Check for bypass valves behind hot water tank if you do not have a convenience center, may be behind false wall

That plug the inverter plugs into is you a.c. from shore power. When you plus in the inverter. If your have shore power it will not run. If you disconnect shore power and plug in the inverter to that outlier it will run.
