Wildwood Grand Lodge

Anyone own a Wildwood Grand Lodge?
I'm looking at a 2018 to set on a seasonal lot.

How is the build quality?
Any problems at all?
How well do you like it?
Any feedback, positive or negative?

Pete

Used to own a Salem Park Model, currently in a 2014 Jayco White Hawk.

I have a Salem Villa Estate 395RET. They are the same floor plans as the Wildwoods, just different graphics and interior colors.
Many cosmetic issues but nothing major.
What model are you looking at?

It's one that's really tall and has 2 lofts in it.

I had a chance to walk through it and like it a lot. I did see some cosmetic issues, but nothing major. I LOVE the floorplan. I owned a Salem Park trailer once before and had good luck with it. Small issues, I can tolerate. Large issues...not so much.

I own it!

I made the purchase of the 2018 Wildwood Grand Lodge 42 DLTS.
I bought from a local 'mom & pop' dealer not far from the seasonal site it will sit on next spring. I considered an internet dealer in Michigan, but went with this local place because they will make services calls with no charge for mileage and they were so friendly and caring...it made the difference in dollars to me.

I've owned plenty of new trailers and I know first-hand, how there will be issues to fix. That must be considered when you can't just tow it to the service dept to fix it.

I paid about 28% less than MSRP and was able to customize it a little as well. (ripping out the black tank, changing toilet to residential style) I do not wish to have any sewer smell or deal with black tanks every weekend at this seasonal spot. I had this residential toilet/direct plumbing in my Salem Park trailer and found it much nicer.

I bought a cover for this massive two-loft trailer and the dealer will put on the cover, keep the trailer on their property until spring and deliver/set-up then.

They are currently adding 10 sites at a resort campground so the sites are not yet ready. Now, the long wait until spring!

Congrats on your new rig. Post some pics when you get a chance.

Nice looking rig Oaklevel. Plenty of storage in the kitchen. Enjoy!
Thanks for the pics!

Edit: I noticed you have the same appliances as in my Salem Villa, you'll love the 4 burner stove and the electronic ignition in the oven.

The Villa and the Lodge are almost identical even using mostly the same model numbers. We looked at a Villa 4092BFL and Wildwood 4092BFL if you did not tell me which one I was inside of, I could not tell you the difference. They must be made on the same assembly line. Outside there are color differences. Not sure if the Wildwood offers the flat siding option like the Villa does.

Main reason that we ended up with the Wildwood was price. The dealer that we bought from was much cheaper with the retail price being the same or close. and the were only 30 miles apart.

I just purchased a Wildwood 42DLTS also. Received it last Monday and spent the week in it at our site. More space than I expected and my son loved the loft and will be perfect for our grandkids. The dogs loved the trailer also. Much better than a 27 foot travel trailer. Placed an LED tapelight along the bottom I-beam already.

considering a new unit and saw these grand lodges. Does these come with an RVIA certificate?
our park (and my lot) requires an RV, so I need an RVIA certificate.

I recall it does have the sticker next to the patio door. I checked the build sheet and it does say RVIA Seal.

It was a line item OPTION on my build sheet that was selected on the form as mandatory. (Salem Villa Estate)
Confirm with your dealer and build sheet.

Here are the pics!

Here are some requested pics.
Dealer threw in a 32" LED TV that I think I'll put in the bedroom.
Looks like the living room will take a 50" above the fireplace. I'll get that before spring.
I had the dealer remove the toilet and black tank as well. Plumbing in a residential toilet so I don't have any smell or black tank maintenance.

Just bought a 2017 Sylvan pontoon as well. (24', with Sea Legs) Now I need to find a nice custom golf cart.
