Wildwood Heritage Glen 327RES

We are looking at purchasing our first 5th wheel and are considering the Heritage Glen 327RES. Are there any issue or concerns we need to be aware of? Thanks for any input.

We purchased a 327RES about 2 months ago and for the most part it is a very nice camper. There are a couple of small issues that you should be aware of.

First, the 60 gallons of gray capacity are actually two 30 gallon tanks, one for the galley and one for the bathroom. The 30 gallon bathroom tank of course fills quickly with showers and does not overflow into the galley tank. This has been a huge disappointment for us and we would not have purchased the unit had we know this in advance.

Second, because of the way the bathroom door opens it is impossible to enter the bathroom from the bedroom without stepping down the steps, opening the bathroom door, and going back up the steps. It is a very poor planning of the bathroom entrance. A pocket door would have been much better.

Other than that, it is a great camper so if you can live with these two design flaws it will be a good buy for you. GB

Thanks so much for the feed back, I was already concerned about the size of the tanks if we were dry camping but this certainly is a problem. Can you access the tanks to put in a over flow between them?

No access, this camper has an enclosed belly. You could put a waste valve on the outlet and open both grays and let them cross fill that way. We haven't tried this yet but plan to. Amazon has the Valterra T58 Twist-On Waste Valve for $20.

Thanks, that sounds simple if it works.
