Is the Shower Curtain across the door essential ?

Why just the door and not the other walls ?

Many smaller R/V showers, (especially with the toilet in the shower) depend on just the finished wall board for the inner shower liner.

Stupid idea?... YES! but I have had two campers this way.

One, I kept a good coat of wax on the wall and it was OK.
The other, even with wax and then painting, it leaked.
We finally stapled a plastic shower liner to the wall that draped into the lower tub.
And then finally, removed the rotted wall and installed a plastic tub surround.

I was thinking a good treatment of 303 seems in order
