2004 Flagstaff 228D

Just picked up a 2004 228D model this weekend and noticed a few of you had one. I am looking for a manual for it as I am the 3rd owner and new to using one. My family has been tent camping for a while and we wanted an upgrade.
I saw that someone had mentioned mods that they made to theirs..I'd really like to know what they did.
I need to know how to do everything as far as propane, power, refridgerator, care of, etc. I know how to set it up and tear it down but everything else is new to me. Any help would be appreciated.

There is a link to download the 2004 Forest River Owners manual on this site. It is a very generic manual that covers their entire product line from pop-ups to motor homes so it may not be of much help. There is no model specific manual for any of their products.

Your best bet will be to ask questions here so don't hesitate to post anything you need to know.
