2012 Flagstaff 831 FKBSS

We have just taken delivery of our dream camper - the 831FKBSS! I have been reading the different threads on this site, and there is so much to learn. Thank goodness I have all of you to answer our newbie questions. We remember very little of the instructions given on the walk-thru, so you will be hearing from me a lot. Happy Camping!!!!

Love our 2011 model. Just haven't been able to get out and camp as much as we like. Traded a 2010 smaller unit and can't believe how much space we have now. It would really be hard to downsize after all this room......

This summer we took ours 4700 towing miles, camped in 9 states at 18 different campgrounds for a total of 42 nights. The only problem we had was a string broke on the small shade by the sofa. What a pleasure this trailer is.

Bouncing in trailer

Any body been able to fix the boucing once you are setup. That Air Suspension maybe great for towing but not when its setup. Make the wife get motion sickness from all the movement. Thinking about scissor jacks in front & back of wheels.

Anybody got a better idea?

Thanks

Tincup,
Both Buckisland1950 and I (and others, I am sure...) have added stabilizer bars to the corner jacks. (Check out Buck's pics here...Forest River Forums - buckisland1950's Album: Camper Mods)

I can't speak for him, but I have noticed quite a reduction in trailer movement while parked. I have only added Front to Back bars as yet, but Buck's has added Side to Side as well.

John

Hey Kalik, just noticed you are from Medina. We stayed at Pier-Lon on our way to Niagara Falls. Nice park and pretty area.

We've never stayed there, but it looks nice!
